Hard to find OWNER's VERSION Leopard 46! Priced to sell fast!In the fall of 2021she had the engines removed and complete service was done while on the hard at Clark's Court; in addition new Auto-prop three-blade bronze propellers were installed, as well as twelve Battle born LiFePO4 batteries, the 2018 standing rigging was inspected in 2021 and determined to be in good working condition, she was returned to the water and continued her Caribbean cruising until June of this year, when insurance restrictions had them return to the southern islands for hurricane season.  Currently located on the hard at the popular Tyrell Bay haul out facility near Grenada. The sails were removed inspected and serviced by In Stitches the local professional sail loft, then returned to the boat. She was sailed into Carriacou at the end of June for Hurricane season with the intent to do some minor refit; have the sail drive seals serviced and the bottom painted before returning her to the water for cruising, however family plans have shifted as college days are approaching. It is here in the southern Caribbean where she waits for you to take her on new adventures.

Detailed Summary
S/V DRAGONFLY is a hard to find OWNER's Version Leopard 46 catamaran designed by renowned cat designers Morelli and Melvin and built by Robertson & Caine in South Africa.
This owner's version features a huge master suite in one hull, with additional storage closets instead of the settee found in most models. A full walk-in shower, washer/dryer, office w/ desk, sliding privacy door, queen bed, and independent air conditioning make this an outstanding layout.
The port hull features two large staterooms as well as an additional crew berth in the bow. The aft stateroom has a full head with toilet, sink and shower. The forward stateroom also has a toilet sink and shower. Both staterooms have large hatches for ventilation and light, as well as ample shelves, under bed lockers and hanging lockers for storage. The port hull has separate air conditioning with reverse cycle heat for northern sailing.
The salon includes a large, forward facing Nav station with redundant helm controls (VHF, auto-pilot) as well as an Icom M802 SSB radio, Fusion stereo with Sirius satellite system, and USB charging outlets.
The galley has a double stainless steel sink, Force 10 propane stove with oven, fresh water filter system, Corian countertops, LED lighting throughout, separate 24v fridge and freezer, and lots of storage. There is an additional free standing freezer box in the port aft stateroom that act's as both a seat and fridge/freezer box.
There is ample room for eight people at the table and one side drops down to form a lounging area to read. The salon has its own dedicated reverse cycle heat/air conditioning system.
There are two Yanmar 54hp 4JH3E 4-cylinder diesel motors (Refurbished in 2021) that will carry her easily at seven knots using one gallon of fuel per hour. Each motor has a 90-amp alternator for charging the separate Lifeline start batteries, and additional Balmar 130 amp alternators and charge regulators for charging the house batteries. The Yanmar SD-50 saildrives (note*the SD50 cone clutch issue was addressed 2017) equipped with Auto Prop 3-blade feathering props for less drag when sailing. DRAGONFLY can motor at 5 knots using one engine for a 1500-mile range under power. She carries 180 gallons of fuel (two aluminum tanks), 200 gallons of water (two roto-molded plastic tanks), and has two 24-gallon aluminum holding tanks (for waste).
DRAGONFLY has three electric systems: 12v, 24v and 110v. All energy use and battery performance is easily adjusted and monitored through the digital Victron Skylla controls at the electric panel. Between the 1,320 watts of solar panels, oversized alternators, 350-watt wind generator, and 9kw genset, there is ample charging source available with minimal use of the Genset.
There are manuals for all of the systems, instruments and devices on board, including s the original 110-page Leopard Owners Manual.
DRAGONFLY is set up as a ready-to-go world cruising yacht and as such there is more impressive hardware and equipment on board than you can imagine, with extensive spare parts for extended cruising. Additional Description
