2004 Leopard 47

'Kool Kat' is a 2004 Leopard 47. Her crew is nearing the end of their family adventure so it’s time they find another family to love her just as much as they do. This is a 4 cabin version with Queen size beds so no need to have expensive custom bedding made. Galley up setting provides an all inclusive setting for everyone.

The helm gives you complete visibility of the boat and is on the starboard side of the cockpit. The cockpit is completely covered with a sturdy hard top bimini. Her aft deck provides a great space for the large grill and prep area, an out-of-the-way place to house scuba tanks, and easy access to the sugar scoops and cockpit. The large cockpit table comfortably seats 8, but the additional seating behind the helm allows you to easily entertain a dozen or more people in this space alone. There is also storage in the inboard bench seats - great for tools and supplies!

The sizable salon is not only functional, it’s also super comfy. The large salon dining table can be lowered and cushion added to make an additional queen+ size bed or comfy lounging area to watch TV. The nav station is your one-stop spot to monitor and control all AC and DC voltage, generator, inverter, air conditioning, and radios. She has a Clarion Radio/CD player/Bluetooth with Bose interior speakers and 2 Bose external speakers in cockpit. There is tons of storage on shelves, in bench seats, and cabinets. She has AC in the salon and throughout the vessel.

The galley is well equipped with lots of storage, including a Cruise RO Sea Maker 45 Watermaker (45 gph), an 11 gallon hot water heater, lots of counter space, a Force 10 3 burner stove/oven, microwave, double stainless sinks, and the glorious dish drainage sink. New refrigeration was added in 2019 with a new Vitrifrigio Refrigerator 12 volt, and a Sea Frost Deep freezer (new evaporator plates 2019).

There are 4 queen berth cabins 3 of them have a ensuite head. The 4th head was removed and replaced with a full-size shower room. This gives plenty of shower elbow space and takes the “cramped” out of showering. In addition, each cabin has lots of storage space.

She has reliable twin Yanmar diesels to get you where you want to go with a cruising speed of 8 knots. Additionally, she’s a blast to sail. All standing rigging was professionally replaced, tuned, and her rigging as well as both the genoa and mainsail have been replaced. RIgging and sails were repalced in 2010. The mast was shortened to 63ft to clear all US East Coast ICW bridges.

Kool Kat is a solid family cruising boat. She has tons of outdoor deck space which makes this a great boat for families, pets or people who like to entertain or anyone who just likes room to move around. She is a beautiful sailing cat who is ready to go ... when you are.

She is having her bottom completely sand blasted down to gelcoat to remove years of paint build up. Three coats of primer and two coats of paint will keep you worry free for years to come.
