Built by Robertson and Caine, designed by Simonis and Voogd, the Leopard 40 was a game changer with its unique free flowing layout which concentrates on unifying the gathering areas. This has been achieved by a door in the front of the saloon giving access directly to the forward seating area and trampoline. As all Leopard catamarans that proceeded her, the Leopard 40 is no exception to speed, agility, and blue-water performance, but her enhancements include an increased volume in the hulls, allowing for additional interior space, and an innovative interior layout.
Renegade is a three cabin two head owners’ version, a fantastic layout for a liveaboard to take your dream sailing adventure or place into a charter fleet to make a return on your investment. Currently located in the British Virgin Islands, Renegade was in St Vincent during the BVI hurricanes in 2017 and has no hurricane history or major incident.
Meticulously maintained, the current owners have spared no expense on the upkeep and upgrades this Leopard 40 deserves. To give two examples, the super spacious and comfortable cockpit has been enhanced with a full sunscreen encloser designed and made with top quality Phifertex material, and craftsmanship perfect for watching those sunsets while sipping on a cocktail.
