The Leopard 46, takes many of the new design ideas and expands them dramatically. Designed by Mevlin & Morrelli, the L46 establishes a whole new look for the Leopard fleet. This is a four cabin, two bathroom version, with four separate sleeping cabins is a large and commodious cruising platform that is designed to sail well and be as comfortable as possible. The boats are built by Robertson & Caine in South Africa and are notable for their strength, durability and attention to detail. The Leopard 46 is a true transoceanic catamaran, which offers comfort and unmatched reliability.
Construction
The hulls are of GRP construction with balsa core for strength, stiffness and insulation using high quality materials.
An exceptional shallow draft of 4 ft 5in/ 1.35 Metres is achieved
Both deck and hull are finished in white gelcoat
The deck has molded-in non-skid pattern providing excellent traction.
The wide aft platform allows easy access to the boat and connects both swim platforms. A large opening allows walk through access from the aft platform into the cockpit.
